Building Brains Academy is part of a much larger international educational curriculum, Edu1st. Our language immersion curriculum focuses on the learning of multiple languages - Your child will listen to Spanish, English, Mandarin and French throughout the day, and begin to acquire other languages in a natural and effortless way, the same way they acquired their native language: organically.
Building Brains' curriculum combines academic skills through the STEAM and thematic approaches in a fun and structured way. By teaching a second language through educational content, students become proficient speakers in the second language while maintaining and strengthening their native language. Apart from fostering bilingualism, this model supports enhanced mental development, a greater appreciation for other cultures, and increased opportunities in the future.
Your children will be taught an International Multilingual Curriculum that incorporates and follows the Visible Thinking Approach of teaching from Project Zero at Harvard University as well as concept maps, the use of the language of thinking and the exercise of the philosophy for children approach, among other thinking tools.

What is STEAM?
STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics as access points for guiding student curiosity, dialogue, and critical thinking. Meaningful educational experiences and authentic learning are integrated across all of our content areas. Your child will develop the necessary thinking and collaborating skills that are needed to compete in a rapidly evolving global economy. At Building Brains Academy, we lay the foundation for the development of science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills at the early childhood level. A STEAM focused curriculum is critical to helping your child become successful at higher classroom levels.
As part of our philosophy, we believe in empowering children and promoting their individuality, while creating an environment that helps young children attain physical, cognitive, social, and emotional achievements that will prepare them for the next step in life. Our curriculum supports Florida’s Early Learning and Developmental Standards. These areas of development include the following:
- Social and Emotional Development
